Flipper Assembly, Bally/Williams Games
 | SHIPPING: Large/heavy item. Shipping outside the U.S. may require additional cost, due to size/weight (billed separately from your order). E-mail us with your shipping address, and desired quantity, if you need a shipping quote. |
Complete baseplate and mechanism assembly for left or right side flippers- as used on Bally/Williams games, but can also be used on other makes/models as a retrofit. Direct replacement for Bally/Williams flippers on games from approx. 1986-up. Will also replace earlier-style flipper assemblies on Williams games from 1980-1985.
These units are great for replacing/upgrading old obsolete flipper assemblies on older games and games from other manufacturers (Stern, Game Plan, Bally, etc) where old original replacement parts are difficult, expensive, or impossible to find. See our Flipper Assembly Upgrade article on our Technical Articles page for info on fitting these flipper assemblies on an older game.
Flipper bat/shaft and coil not included- order flipper bats separately below, and coils from our Coils (Solenoids) page- depending on the color of flippers you prefer, and type of coil your game uses. Any of the long coils (approx. 2 inch) can be used on this unit, including Data East 090-5020-30 & 090-5032-00, Bally/Williams FL-11753, FL-11722, FL-11630, FL15411, FL11629, FL17636, Williams SFL-19-400/30-750-DC, SFL-23-600/30-2600-DC. Short flipper coils on older games can be used on this assembly as well, but it requires you to move the front coil mounting bracket back, and drill/tap new screw holes for it, to accomodate the shorter coil. Modifications like this are not included and are done at your own risk.
This baseplate design includes and uses most parts in the Bally and Williams flipper rebuild kits listed above (kits # FLKIT1 and FLKIT2), plus flipper bushing, nuts, screws, rubber bumper, and front coil plunger guide/bracket.

Flipper Baseplate, Bally/Williams Games:
 | SHIPPING: Large item. Shipping outside the U.S. may require additional cost, due to size (billed separately from your order). E-mail us with your shipping address, and desired quantity, if you need a shipping quote. |
Modern replacement flipper mounting baseplate unit for Bally and Williams pinball games. This baseplate is a direct replacement for any game that used the baseplate with the removable coil stop (Williams games from approx. 1985-up, and Bally games from approx. 1988-up). Some other models (earlier games too) may also use this style of baseplate. Please verify that your game uses this type before ordering.
These baseplates will also replace Bally/Williams part #'s B-13104-L, B-13104-R, C-11627-L, and C-11627-R. This baseplate design will accept all parts in the Bally and Williams flipper rebuild kits # FLKIT1A and FLKIT2A listed above.
Baseplate only- no hardware attached. All other parts must be purchased/obtained separately, or swapped over from old unit.
NOTE: Mounting hole for rubber bumper at front of assembly is too large on these aftermarket replacement baseplates (we have notified the manufacturer and hope to see this corrected). Your original bumper, or replacement bumper (#545-5105-00 below) will not stay in place when mounted. We recommend using some rubber cement to affix the bumper to the baseplate to help keep it in place.

Flipper Bushings:

Flipper Bushing- Bally/Williams Games (late): $1.55 ea.
For Williams games 1980-1999, Bally games ~1989-1999.
Part # 03-7568

Old original bushings are often cracked or broken on most games. They keep your flippers centered properly- from side to side, and up/down. Loose, broken, cracked, or otherwise worn out bushings can cause flippers to be sloppy, lose strength, and possibly contact the playfield surface, causing premature wear. If rebuilding your flippers, don't forget new flipper bushings!
For Bally games made before mid-1989, please consult your game manual to verify part number.
See the Hardware section above for new nuts and screws to mount your new bushings!

See the Hardware section above for new nuts to mount your new bushings!

Flipper EOS (End Of Stroke) Switch: $3.50 ea High Voltage / High Current
For use in most makes & models.
Part # 03-7811 Flipper EOS switch with heavy-duty tungsten contact points for older games that use higher voltage/current (25-72vdc). This switch is used on games where flipper coil voltage goes through this switch as part of the coil circuit. Most games made prior to 1992 will use this heavy-duty switch.
Used on Bally/Williams games prior to 1992 (pre-Fliptronics). Replaces # SW-10A-50. Also replaces older Bally # AS2-A20-1 and Data East # 180-5018-00. Can also be used on most all other makes/models of games as a generic replacement (some games may require slight adjustment or repositioning of the EOS switch mounting bracket).
Worn out EOS switch contact points are the main cause of weak or non-functioning flippers. Make sure your flipper button switches are in good shape too (below)- a brand new EOS switch is no good if your flipper button switch is worn out and pitted! Both switches need to be in top condition for best flipper power and performance!
See our Hardware page for switch mounting nuts and screws.

Flipper EOS (End Of Stroke) Switch: $4.50 ea Low Voltage / Low Current
For Bally/Williams Fliptronics games.
Part # SW-1A-194 Low voltage / low current switch for use on games with solid-state controlled flippers, such as Bally/Williams Fliptronics games, from Addams Family (1992) and up. Can be used on some other makes/models of games that use low-voltage EOS switches for electronically-controlled flippers, or "solid-state-controlled" flippers, as a generic replacement.
These EOS switches are used in low voltage (non coil power) circuits to tell the computer when the flipper has pulled in all the way, and basically tell the computer when to turn on/off high voltage to the coil. Worn out or broken EOS switch contact points can cause weak, overheating, or malfunctioning flippers.
NOTE: This switch should not be used on an older (non-computer-controlled) flipper unit that uses high voltage (25-72vdc). The older flippers use higher voltage and current, which require heavy-duty contact points. Use switch part # 03-7811 (above) for these older games.
See our Hardware page for switch mounting nuts and screws.

 |

Overall length of this switch assembly is 2-15/16". Long blade measures 1-11/16" out from switch stack. This switch can also be used on most other makes/models of games that use low-voltage EOS switches for electronically-controlled flippers, as a generic replacement. These EOS switches are used to tell the computer when the flipper has pulled in all the way, and are used to control the current/power to the flipper coils. Worn out or broken EOS switch contact points can cause weak, overheating, or malfunctioning flippers.
See our Hardware page for switch mounting nuts and screws.
NOTE: This switch should not be used on an older (non-computer-controlled) flipper unit that uses high voltage (25-72vdc). The older flippers use higher voltage and current, which require heavy-duty contact points. Use switch part # 03-7811 (above) for these older games. 03-7811 replaces older Data East part # 180-5018-00.
|
 |
Flipper EOS (End Of Stroke) Switch: $3.99 ea
For late-model Stern games.
Part # 180-5149-00 Flipper end-of-stroke switch as used on later-model modern Stern pinball games. Overall length of this switch assembly is 2-11/16". Long blade measures 1-15/32" out from switch stack.

It is activated (closed) by the main EOS switch in front of it (closer to the coil). Includes nylon insulator/actuator. Does not include diode- use 1N4007 diode, available above.
