Game Description:

Family Guy pinball packs as much fun and excitement as the 10+ years-running TV show, featuring all kinds of gizmos and gadgets on the playfield to keep you entertained for years and years!

This loaded game features TWO playfield levels- the upper one being a miniature "Stewie" pinball playfield complete with it's own minature ball, flippers, bumpers, targets, and mini ramp! Hit captive balls on the main playfield then shoot the lit scoop shot to start play on the upper playfield! Complete targets, loops, and ramps on the mini playfield to light characters on the main playfield.

The main playfield boasts THREE flippers, single and 4-bank drop targets, a spinner shot in the right orbit lane, three pop bumpers, two captive balls, ramps, an up-post between the flippers, and a kickout hole- all of which will keep you entertained and busy, game after game!

Family Guy pinball features voice clips and music from the TV series, as well as many speech clips made by the original voice actors just for the pinball game! Playfield and cabinet boast bright, vibrant, colorful artwork, and teamed with fast, exciting, "on your toes" play. You definitely get A LOT OF PINBALL FOR THE MONEY with this game!

These were hot when they were released brand new just a few years ago. This one surely won't last long either. Here's a rare chance to pick up a gorgeous example of this popular, modern, late-model game- professionally reconditioned and in outstanding shape!

This game is one of the must fun and challenging games ever designed by Stern, and even though the multitude of rules and modes on this game will be more than enough to keep you busy, the game play is fun and straightforward enough to be entertaining and fun for any players, regardless of skill and age. These are the true signs of a well-designed pinball, and we're sure after a game or two, you'll agree!

Game Condition:

Overall this is a very low-mileage example of this late-model collectible game, showing very few signs of previous use, and with the detailed restoration work we've done on it, it has an overall fresh, "like new" look to it, inside and out (we've even had a few walk-in customers ask if it was a new machine!)

Playfield on this game is in great condition. It was fully stripped of all parts (top and bottom sides) during the overhaul, and playfield surface was fully cleaned, polished, and waxed. It still has a shiny "like new" look to it.

We gave this playfield a few "upgrades" during the restoration, including a new set of "Cliffy" stainless steel protectors around the scoop kick-out hole to protect the edges of the hole and help it look great. We also added a
protective Mylar ring around the lower pop bumper to help protect the playfield surface around it, as this bumper sees quite a lot of traffic. A protective Mylar strip was also added in front of the kickout scoop, to help protect the playfield surface there, after we did a small amount of paint touch-up to repair a small spot that was starting to show some use in front of the scoop.

Two mini-posts were replaced with larger "sleeve" posts- in front of the left orbit entrance, and to the right of the ramp entrance- to help absorb hard hits from balls (the original mini posts and small rubber rings they use just don't hold up long to ball hits in these spots).

The "beer can" target in the top/center of playfield was replaced with a brand new factory-original unit, including a brand new "Patriot Ale" decal. We also added a strip of clear Mylar around the front of the 'can' to help protect the can and decal from premature wear from ball hits.

The ball kick-out scoop mechanism was reinforced with some extra welding to strengthen the solenoid mounting brackets on it (common weak spot on these units). A new green standup target was also installed next to the scoop shot.

All mechanical assemblies were fully rebuilt and reconditioned during the overhaul, including all flippers fully rebuilt with brand new factory-original parts, drop target banks fully cleaned, overhauled, and rebuilt- including brand new decals for the upper 4-bank targets.

All bop bumpers, slingshot bumpers, kick-out hole mechanism, auto-launcher, kickout-scoop, up-post, and ball trough were also fully overhauled and rebuilt to look and work just like new.

The "Stewie" mini-playfield was also fully overhauled, including full disassembly, playfield cleaning/polishing, and all parts cleaned and overhauled. Even the mini flippers got new rubber rings!

All plastic parts and ramps were also removed and cleaned/reconditioned. A new rubber ring kit was installed, as well as new light bulbs and flasher bulbs, as required. A brand new set of pin balls was also installed (game uses 8 balls total), and the whole reconditioning was topped-off with a brand new sheet of clear tempered safety glass for a scratch-free view of the gorgeous playfield!

Cabinet and Backbox: The outside of the game is in excellent condition, showing very few signs of past use/handling- a very well-preserved game overall. A few tiny spots on the cabinet and backbox were touched-up during the overhaul to help maintain a clean, smooth look, and entire cabinet exterior was cleaned. Main cabinet interior was fully cleaned and cabinet side-walls were repainted in matching original semi-gloss black enamel for a fresh, clean look. All cabinet wiring harnesses were cleaned, as well as coin door- inside and out. A new flourescent tube was installed in the backbox to illuminate the backglass translite. Translite is original in this game and in mint condition with no scratches or scuffs from past use/handling.

Dot-matrix score display is in great condition with no signs of "burn in" from past use (a sign of a low-mileage, well cared-for game). Scores and graphics are bright and crisp with no defects.

Game was also upgraded to the latest 12.0 software revision so it features the latest and greatest updates, changes, and bug fixes.

Custom Modifications:
  • This machine has had it's software upgraded to the latest 12.0 revision.
  • Protective Mylar ring installed around center pop bumper to help protect playfield surface from wear/tear.
  • Post bumpers installed in front of left orbit entrance and right of ramp entrance to help absorb ball hits (much stronger than original mini-post bumpers in these spots).
  • Protective Mylar strip installed in front of ball kick-out scoop to protect playfield surface.
  • Stainless steel "Cliffy" protectors installed around scoop hole to protect playfield edges.
  • Kick-out scoop reinforced with additional welding to strengthen coil mounting bracket.
  • Protective fender washers added under slingshot plastics to protect against damage.

Playfield overall view.
Playfield- flippers and score card holder areas.
Lower playfield- shot from right side.
Upper playfield- view from left. The Stewie "mini playfield" seen here. Note also the brand new stainless steel "Cliffy" protectors installed around the scoop kickout hole, and new green standup target to the left of the scoop.

"Beer can" is brand new- factory original part- including new decal. We've also installed some protective Mylar around the lower part of the decal/can to help protect it from wear/tear from ball hits.
Upper left corner of playfield- Brian, Peter, and Chris figures. New decals have been installed on the 4-bank drop targets.

Note also the two black rubber sleeve posts below the drop targets, and to the right of the ramp entrance. We installed these in place of the small mini-posts that were originally in these locations, for added strength and reliability, as these spots take a lot of hard ball hits and the small mini-posts that are installed at the factory simply don't hold up under the wear/tear. These newly-installed sleeve posts will hold up against fast balls, and help protect valuable playfield parts- a great upgrade!
Upper mini "Stewie" playfield. This is a real, working, "mini" pinball playfield complete with functioning flippers, targets, and a ramp! Hit captive balls on the main playfield to spell P-I-N-B-A-L-L and then hit the scoop to start mini playfield play! Complete targets, loops, and ramp shot to collect family members and light them on the main playfield.
Playfield underside view. Note cleanliness of underside of playfield and parts- all assemblies having been rebuilt/reconditioned and cleaned. Just like when new!
Underside of playfield- mid and upper sections.
