   Three classic games in one!

Pac-Man® Celebrates his 25th Birthday!

In honor of this outstanding vintage classic arcade game, Namco has designed a new Limited Edition Pac-Man 25th Anniversary model. This model features all three classic games: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga. The player simply selects which game they want to play at the start- during the Select Game Mode.

And these are the original Namco games- not aftermarket remakes or "look-alikes"- all games are from the original programming code- so they look, play, and sound exactly the same as they did when they were created and released into the arcades over 20 years ago!

The cabinet screams "retro" Pac-Man with a little "edge" added for the current millennia! This game is available in three cabinet models: standard upright, cabaret with a coin-door (coin-op), and a cabaret without coin door (home model- free play only). This awesome classic is sure to be around another 25 years!

Game Description:
For the first time, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga, three of the industry's "Greatest Hits," are available in one dedicated cabinet. You get THREE games in one! These three games are unquestionably the longest running hits in the history of video games! After 20 years, they are still a "must have" for all locations.

The retro-style cabinet is a replica of the original Pac-Man cabinet with a few exceptions: a 25" monitor now replaces the original 19" monitor (upright model only), and the coin door (coin-op versions) is now a modern over/under door with quarter, dollar coin, and dollar bill validator capabilities. This will allow operators to utilize pricing schemes unavailable in the original models. (Games can also be run on FREE PLAY- no coins required!) The exterior of the cabinet appears as a combination of the original games' shape, design, and artwork. The front of the cabinet, the marquee, control panel, and game instructions are a delightful blend of these classic games all in one.

The game play is identical to the original versions (emulation of original program code- same look, feel, play, and sound!) but this new model includes a number of new options for the owner/operator. Included are operator-selectable features such as "regular" or "speedy" Ms. Pac-Man and Pac-Man, and "original" or "rapid fire" Galaga. Also included is a feature that did not exist 20 years ago — player buy-in (continued game) mode. This too is operator selectable. Players will have their choice of playing Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, or Galaga. Although the original games still earn well for their age, we're confident that with all of the new features that have been added, the 25th anniversary edition will be even better!

Why bring back these hits from the past? For the past few years, Namco's distributors have received comments from operators all over the USA about how well their Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, and Galaga games continue to perform, but how beat up the hardware had become. Burned in monitors, trashed cabinets, unrepairable boards... Would it be possible for Namco to re-release the games that operators and home game room owners wanted so badly? Namco researched the project, and found that they were able to reproduce these classic games now with modern components that add greater quality, durability, and higher reliability than original games from over 20 years ago. Ms. Pac-Man, Pac-Man and Galaga together — it doesn't get any better than this!

Come celebrate Pac-Man's 25th Anniversary with Namco!
