Playboy features the girls of Playboy magazine and magazine founder Hugh Hefner. This game is packed with Playboy Playmates and features lots of toys and gadgets on the playfield for added fun. Shoot the skill shot and watch the mechanical magazine over the plunger lane flip open to reveal a Playmate. Rotating 3-sided illuminated sign over the right ramp turns during play to show more Playboy girls. The "Peek-A-Boo" curtain on the left of the playfield magically moves to the side to reveal another girl. Complete upper rollover lanes to gradually lower the "Tease" curtain at the top of the playfield to find more hidden beauties! Probably the most unique gadget on the playfield is the mechanical magazine assembly over the center ramp, which opens out just like a magazine centerfold, to reveal the Playboy centerfold Playmate. Shots up the center ramp lock balls for multiball play. Lock all 3 to release and open the centerfold!

Shoot the ball between the ramps to land in the "Grotto" kickout hole and play poker on the dot-matrix display screen with the Playboy girls. This game also features 3 wild pop bumpers below the rollover lanes in the top left corner of the playfield, two ramps with wireform rails that return the ball to the flippers, and great shots including looping shots up around the top of the playfield and back down.

Complete lit shots to collect "bunnies" and round up all 12 playmates- one for each month of the year. Watch as their pictures light up on the playfield as you collect them!

Did we mention good looks? The playfield, cabinet, and backglass on this game feature great artwork by legendary pinball artist Kevin O'Connor. Lots of bright, vibrant colors and photos of actual Playboy Playmates adorn this machine from top to bottom.

Great game for the bachelor pad or for any Playboy fan or collector alike. Designed with enough rules and challenging shots to keep even the best players on their toes- always keeps you coming back for more. But straightforward enough for novice players as well.

Game Condition:

Overall: This game is in great shape from top to bottom and has seen far less than average use during it's lifetime. This game was originally purchased and used by a local mall arcade and had only been moved one or two times during it's commercial life, so has not had any scrapes, dents, scratches, or other damage as can usually be seen on most operator's commercial used games- this one has really been preserved well. Also used in a non-smoking and no-food-or-drink location, so doesn't have that nasty "bar" smell and no damage from spilled drinks as is also common in many commercial games.

Playfield: Playfield on this game is in outstanding shape overall and still appears just like new. Having only 4 years of commercial use in one location, this game has been limited in it's use so has really been preserved well. There are no "wear spots" or other signs of wear/tear or damage on the playfield- after cleaning and polishing this field, we were surprised to see how well this game really cleaned up and still appears just like a brand new game- no signs of ball tracks or other wear anywhere on the field. Playfield has been stripped, cleaned, polished, and waxed to restore original look and give maximum playability and appearance. Along with the rest of our standard
playfield restoration processes we have also refinished all of the stainless steel ball rail guides so they have no "ball marks" and give a brand new appearance.

Cabinet & Backbox: Cabinet/backbox are in great shape having had only a few very tiny nicks on some edges from normal use, and a few remaining "rub" marks from the factory packaging that the game had been shipped in from the Stern Factory (common on Stern games up until about 1 year ago when they changed their packaging). These blemishes were all limited to the solid black areas on the cabinet, so were touched up easily and are not obvious. Whole cabinet from top to bottom really has a fresh, sharp appearance to it- just like new.

Coin door is in excellent condition and has been thoroughly overhauled and restored- disassembled into all individual pieces and parts. Metal parts and carriage bolts used for mounting have been repainted with correct semi-gloss black enamel paint. All internal parts have been cleaned and reassembled, including wiring harness and buttons/switches. Coin mechanisms are present, complete, and fully functional. New coin door lock and key installed.

Backglass/Translite: Backglass mylar translite is in mint condition on this game- no signs of damage or handling at all.
