Game Description:

We're proud to offer another popular and highly collectible Addams Family pinball. With it's theme based on the Paramount Pictures blockbuster movie hit, this game has been one of the two most-requsted games on our list for several years running now, and remains a popular classic with collectors, casual players, and families alike. This game definitely has something for everyone, from the most skilled pinball "wizards" to the novice player or enthusiast.

Addams Family is a modern classic pinball game designed by Bally's famous designer Pat Lawlor, who designed such other popular classics as
Twilight Zone, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Funhouse, Monopoly, Road Show, and No Good Gofers, to name a few. Addams Family is accepted as the most popular pinball machine ever made, breaking all records for production, earnings, and consecutive months (and years) that it appeared in the monthly top 10 list of most popular pinball machines! Even years after it's initial release, the game still is a top earner in the arcades and locations all over the world, and most pinball operators still won't part with the game because it makes too much money! (It still earns even more than many newer pinball machines that have been released since Addams.)

Game Play: Where do we start? There's so much fun stuff to do on this game- it is literally packed with toys, gadgets, gizmos, and accompanied by great sounds, music, lighting effects, and even authentic custom speech from the original actors from the popular Addams Family movie, including Raul Julia (Gomez), Angelica Huston (Morticia), and Christopher Lloyd (Uncle Fester). You virtually get as much "gadgetry" packed into this game as you would in two "average" pinball games, so this game really offers "a lot of pinball for the money".

This game features gadgets such as:
  • Four flippers!
  • Three-ball Multiball™ mode.
  • Two-ball Multiball™ mode.
  • A rotating Bookcase that moves to allow balls access to the hidden Vault
  • A moving hand that actually comes out of the playfield and snatches the ball away!
  • A replica of the Addams Family's Electric Chair
  • A "haunted" flipper which shoots the ball all by itself!
  • "The Power"- "haunted" magnets that grab the balls and fling them in all different directions!
The Chair: Shoot the "Bear Kick" ramp to light the light bulb in Uncle Fester's mouth as he sits in the Electric Chair! Then shoot the Chair to play one of the 13 modes that this game offers! Complete all the modes and you get to "Tour the Addams Family Mansion"! This is a "wizard" mode where the game basically goes crazy! All Jackpots are lit, extra ball is lit, all awards are at maximum value, and topped off by crazy Three-Ball Multiball™ play! A definite test of your pinball playing skills!
Thing Flips! Shoot the Bear Kick ramp when lit and the ball is diverted to a small flipper on the right side of the playfield, where the game actually hits the ball for you! The small flipper shoots the ball across the playfield and into the Swamp, where you get five times the usual points!
Thing's Box: Get the ball to "Thing" in the upper right corner of the playfield and watch as the "Thing" hand comes up out of the playfield, grabs the ball, and disappears!
The Vault: Hit the Bookcase 5 times to spell G-R-E-E-D, then watch as the bookcase slowly turns to allow you to shoot past it and into the Vault! Lock balls in the Vault to start the wild 3-ball Multiball™ mode!
This game is one of the must fun and challenging games ever designed by Bally, and even though the multitude of rules and modes on this game will be more than enough to keep you busy, the game play is fun and straightforward enough to be entertaining and fun for any players, regardless of skill and age. These are the true signs of a well-designed pinball, and we're sure after a game or two, you'll agree!

Overall, it's no wonder why this game is such a classic. With so many fun things to do on the game, it will surely keep you entertained and always coming back for more!

Game Condition:

NOTE: A large amount of detail/information is given below on the condition of this game, in regard to it's higher collectible value, and often-common multiple inquiries that we typically receive regarding intricate detail on "high end" popular games such as this one. We apologize in advance for the "extra reading" but want to convey as accurate a depiction of the game's details as possible for those discriminating customers who cannot visit our shop to see/play this game in person before buying. If you have any questions or require any additional information or pictures, just

Overall:
Over 65 hours have been invested in the excruciatingly-detailed restoration of this legendary classic Bally pinball game. It easily meets our criteria for an "Excellent-to-Collector Condition" rating, which is near our top rating for a used, reconditioned, restored game.

This game is a domestic (U.S.) model and is not a re-import from overseas. This game originally came to us from a small local operator who operated the game commercially for most of it's life in a very low-traffic location. So not only did this game not get moved around much, but not played much, either, so it remains a very "low-mileage" game which has had it's original condition preserved superbly well over it's lifetime. A very-well preserved example of this highly collectible game, and honestly the best condition Addams Family game that we have ever brought in and restored in all the past years.

The cleanliness of the game- inside and out- and the obvious signs of very limited use on the playfield and it's components made this game a great candidate for a high-end restoration of this caliber. Much like a very low-mileage classic muscle car, this game has been preserved extremely well inside and out due to the limited amount of use it received during it's lifetime. Something we all love to see in a classic game like this.

Cabinet and Backbox: All exterior surfaces on this game are in fantastic shape, showing very few signs of previous use or handling. All colors and artwork on the game have been preserved very well and are still bright and vibrant with no signs of UV color-fading.

Very few signs of previous use or handling were present on this game when we received it- only a few very tiny nicks, chips, and scratches here and there- the majority being confined to solid black areas such as around the edges of the backbox sides- not negatively affecting any of the actual detailed artwork on the cabinet. Most all of these were touched-up during the restoration of the cabinet, to make them less apparent and to restore the original look and finish to the game as much as possible. As with any used/reconditioned game, some signs of previous use may naturally still be visible on parts of the game upon close inspection, but we have done our best to restore the original look and finish to the exterior as much as practically possible.

All touch-up painting that has been done on this restored game has been done professionally with no unsightly "overspray" onto nearby parts, and no "sloppy work", as is common to see on a lot of average "fixed up" used games.

Front "bezel" or "frame" around the backglass and speaker panel has been repainted with gloss black enamel to restore a clean original look. Black carriage bolts that secure the backbox corners (4 on each of the backbox sides) have been removed, refinished, repainted, and reinstalled, to reflect an original, new look.

All circuit boards inside the backbox have been cleaned and inspected and show no signs of previous poor-quality repair work or damage, and no burned, scorched, or overheated connectors, as is often common in many used games that have been run hard for many years. This game's components still appear remarkably fresh and healthy.

The front of the game is in outstanding original condition and has not been drilled for a security bar/hasp, like many commercially-operated games have. The original coin door on this game, while still in good condition and functional, was replaced with a brand new NOS original door to compliment the high-quality restoration done throughout the game, and to restore that "day one" fresh new look.

The back of the cabinet and backbox have been restored and refinished in original-style semi-gloss black enamel paint. Main cabinet interior sides have also been restored with a light coat of semi-gloss black paint to restore original finish. The exterior bottom panel of the main cabinet has been restored as well- cleaning and sanding of the wood edges and bottom panel to restore the original appearance.

Cabinet hardware (carriage bolts, screws, brackets, etc) was removed during the restoration and cleaned, and refinished or repainted for original appearance, before being reinstalled. New white nylon cabinet gliders have been installed on the back of the main cabinet and underside edges of the backbox.

Some small signs of wear and rubbing from the legs were present underneath the legs on each of the corners of the main cabinet, where the legs mount directly to the cabinet. These are common to find on any used game and are the result of use and vibrations from operating the game. This wear was touched-up and repainted on each of the 4 corners of the game, and brand new leg protector pads were installed to help cover and prevent against any damage (scratches, scuffs) and help preserve the finish.

Backglass on this game (mylar translite behind clear tempered glass) is in superb condition, showing no major blemishes or signs of wear and tear. Only one very tiny superficial nick is present on the back side- probably from normal use/handling over the years- but does not penetrate the backglass artwork so does not detract from it's original look or condition (see images below). Black plastic trim on the backglass edges is all original, clean, and in great shape.

Playfield on this game is in superb condition from top to bottom and shows none of the common "worn-through" spots in the artwork that many popular used games often show- very well preserved from top to bottom- one of the benefits of a low-mileage game. This game features the factory original "Diamondplate" clearcoat finish which helps preserve and protect it's surface. There are no wear spots on the edges of the "Mansion" light inserts, or the "Greed" light inserts, as is very common on most used Addams Family games. This game also has no wear marks in front of the Chair, or Swamp kickout scoops- also something that is common to find on most used Addams games. Some minor wear was present on the wood edges of the hole under the Chair, but this was covered up and protected against further wear by a Cliffy Hyperthin stainless steel protector- a great high-quality add-on for this game. One tiny spot in front of the right slingshot bumper is starting to show some stress from "ball traffic" in that area, but has not worn through the paint, and with periodic cleaning and waxing care of the playfield, should continue to remain unchanged in future home use. A tiny bit of stress can be seen at the top of the playfield where balls drop from the ball shooter lane down onto the playfield. This area isn't readily visible to the player, and one has to look quite closely to see this area, but this spot also has not worn through the paint and should continue to remain fine under normal use. There are no wear spots or chips around the perimiter of the Bookcase base, as can be common on this popular game- all very well-preserved.

All of the plastics on the playfield on this game are original and in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks and no unsightly wear spots or other damage. All have been cleaned- top and bottom sides- and installed and secured with brand new nylock nuts, just like originally designed.

There is no burning/scorching or discoloring of the artwork over any of the three electromagnets under the playfield (the "Power" feature used during Multiball). Magnets overheating and damaging the playfield is a common problem in Addams Family games. This game has no signs of such damage and all parts are in perfect working order. Magnet parts/circuitry have been modified to prevent such damage in the future (see images below).

All mechanisms on the playfield (including kickers, bumpers, flippers, and more) have all been painstakingly overhauled and reconditioned/restored to new condition for good looks and proper reliable operation.

Here is a detailed list of work that has been done on this game, followed by more details on condition:
  • We have invested just over 65 hours in the restoration of this game.

Gearbox gears relubricated with fresh white lithium grease.
  • "Thing" hand scoop that kicks ball back into play from Thing hand was strengthened by welding joints to reinforce them and prevent any breaking in the future. Scoop welded at sixteen crucial stress points for added reliability. We'll guarantee this scoop won't break for as long as you own the game!

  • NOS kicker arms and pivots installed for both slingshot bumper mechanisms to restore original strength and add reliability.
  • "Power" electronic magnets under playfield have had their driver circuitry modified and individual fuses added for each of the three magnets. This prevents problems of magnets getting "stuck" on and overheating and often burning/discoloring the playfield surface (common problem on most Addams Family games). Our custom modifications will prevent against this problem occurring in this game in the future and make future problems/troubleshooting much easier.
  • New coil sleeves installed in coil devices (flippers, kickers, bumpers, etc.) to restore like-new operation and add reliability.
  • Solder joints on light bulb, motor-control and driver PC boards under playfield all reflowed and reinforced with fresh solder to prevent cracks and intermittent operation in the future.

Description
Playfield overall view.

Playfield during restoration. Playfield removed, completely stripped of all parts- top and bottom sides- cleaned, polished, restored, and ready to be put back in the game and reassembled. Many more days of work to go from here!

Playfield reassembly in process. General illumination lamp wiring and sockets installed here, along with a few components like rollover switch assemblies, targets, pop bumpers, and the "Power" magnets.
Playfield mounted in game and assembly continuing. Pop bumpers and some rails present here, and of course Thing's box in upper right corner.
Playfield fully asssembled- lower playfield view. Note new hard-laminated score/instruction cards installed. Also no wear on the Mansion light "inserts" on this game, nor in the return lanes on the left and right sides of the slingshot bumpers. These are the most common areas for wear on most used Addams Family games, so to see no wear here whatsoever, really shows how "low-mileage" this game really is. Very well preserved.

Yellow flippers on this game are brand new NOS originals with the Williams "W" logo on them. These have been discontinued for some time and are very hard to find anymore. But we managed to hang on to a set just for this game.

Note also the protective fender washers installed under the top and bottom edges of the slingshot bumper plastics to help protect and preserve them.
Plunger lane detail. Great condition with minimal signs of past use. Again, very well preserved. Bubble level in the plunger lane is a brand new NOS original replacement. Note also the new hardware (screws) securing it. New hardware was used extensively throughout the reassembly of this game to give it that "day one" new look.
Detail- lower playfield area. A shot of the left return lanes and slingshot bumper. Note that there are no signs of "magnet burn" in the center of the playfield. This game has not suffered from any electrical problems with the "Power" magnets, which have been known to malfunction and overheat, thus burning/scorching areas on the playfield.

We have upgraded and modified the circuitry for the Power magnets on this game to help avoid such problems in the future- see below for more details.
Detail- right slingshot bumper. Note that the slingshot kicker arms and pivots in both left, and right slingshot bumpers, are all brand new original NOS factory parts. Replaced for good looks, and to restore "brand new" performance to the bumpers. Bumper switches have been cleaned and polished for new appearance.

Note that there are some very tiny hairline cracks starting to develop in the playfield finish directly in front of the right slingshot bumper (blue area- center of bumper) from ball traffic in this area from past years of use. This area has not worn through the finish, and with proper care and maintenance (cleaning and waxing), should not pose a problem. Again, this is not a brand new game, so some signs of use will be present in various areas upon close inspection.
The Electric Chair: The Chair is seen here, complete with Uncle Fester sitting in it, watching all the action! The Chair is one of the primary shots on the game. Balls entering the scoop under the chair will start one of the 13 different modes of play (when the yellow light on the Chair (or Fester) is lit), and will initiate Multiball™ when the red light is lit. Note the brand new Cliffy Hyperthin stainless steel protector installed around the perimiter of the scoop hole. This covers the exposed wood edges and protects the finish from unnecessary wear and tear from balls entering and leaving the scoop.

The small game-controlled "Thing" flipper is also seen here. Balls shot up the center ramp (when lit) will fall to this flipper, and the game takes over and flips for you- shooting into the Swamp across the playfield for 5x point values. Take your hands off the game and watch it play by itself! That is creepy!

The optos (electric eyes) just up from the Thing flipper have had their solder connections reflowed and elements cleaned to ensure proper and reliable operation of the Thing flipper. These are a common problem source in Addams Family games that can suffer broken connections from vibrations from the nearby pop bumpers.

Note the end of the brand new upgraded plastic ramp assembly just up from the Thing flipper. Most of the pop bumper parts are new- bodies, skirts, bases, metal ring/rods, etc. and they work like lightning!
The Swamp: This is another kickout-scoop mechanism (similar to the Chair) where balls are stored for Multiball play and ejected to the right flipper. Balls can be shot in here from anywhere on the playfield, but will come here automatically from the Thing flipper across the playfield (see above).

This entire assembly has been broken down, and every part cleaned, rebuilt and reassembled. Scoop has been reinforce-welded for added strength (broken weld joints are common on original parts) and comes with a lifetime guarantee against breakage! Modified for performance and reliability for years to come.
The Graveyard: The pop bumper area is the "Graveyard" in this game. FIVE bumpers are used on this game, and really give the ball some serious action when it's in this area. Hitting the different bumpers changes the next available mode (13 modes in this game) which is started when you shoot the lit Electric Chair.

Note the condition of the playfield and the pop bumpers- all fully restored and very well preserved. The brand new ramp crosses above the pop bumpers area.
The Bookcase and Vault: Shoot the bookcase 5 times to spell G-R-E-E-D, then watch as it rotates to allow the ball to be shot behind it- right into the Vault. To be stored for Multiball™ play.

The bookcase mechanism is one of the most complicated units in this game and we've done nothing short of giving it a full and complete overhaul from top to bottom, including a brand new Delrin crank, which is virtually unbreakable (originals commonly broke on most Addams Family games), a NOS nylon crank arm which turns the bookcase unit, and a brand new round blue bookcase base. This unit looks "day one" new again- and works that way, too!
Cousin 'It': The targets behind the Electric Chair are "Cousin It" who you have to hit during certain modes. Targets have all been fully cleaned and reconditioned, including brand new foam rubber backing pads on all (13 total on this game).
Bear Kick Ramp: Left and top (Bear Kick) ramp entrances shown here. Entire ramp assembly is a brand new heavy-duty upgraded aftermarket unit- made of thicker and more durable plastic than the wimpy originals, which were notorious for cracking and breaking. NO damage on this unit! Even has brand new decals and blue springsteel flaps at the entrances. All metal and electrical components on the ramp have been restored including re-graining of the stainless steel metal protectors, and brand new hardware (nuts/screws) and wire ties added to the ramp for a "day one" new look.

Blue oblong "A" target at the left of the top ramp entrance is a brand new NOS part. Microswitches on the ramp were replaced with brand new units and diodes for good looks and reliable operation.
Thing: Here's Thing coming out of his box to grab a ball! Balls shot into the saucer at the top of the playfield are occasionally picked up by Thing. The hand actually comes up out of the box, picks up the ball, and takes it down into the depths of the playfield! Sometimes Gomez makes Thing give it back, but other times it disappears into the Swamp to be stored for Multiball™ play.

The entire Thing hand assembly has been overhauled from the wire ties to the gearbox. Fully cleaned and restored to brand new "day one" condition. Wiring to the magnet coil in Thing's hand has been upgraded to a heavier-gauge wire along with a beefier connector pin set to provide more reliability- broken wires and intermittent connections are often common problems on original games, so we've re-done this one to be reliable as possible.

Solder joints on the motor control and opto boards for Thing have been reflowed with added solder to beef them up and add reliability. Gearbox has been relubricated with fresh white lithium grease. He works like new again! No corners cut here- everything overhauled.
Shot of top/center playfield area. Note that there is NO wear on the G-R-E-E-D light inserts- a common spot for wear/tear on most Addams Family games. Also no wear or chipping around the perimiter of the Bookcase base. This high-traffic area is very well preserved on this low-mileage game.
Lower center playfield area- a shot looking back at the flippers.
Playfield underside. Note the cleanliness and "like new" condition of the wood of the playfield underside. The whole playfield on this game was entirely stripped of every single part- right down to the wood. Fully cleaned and restored- top and bottom sides- so it again looks like it just came from the factory. All surfaces on this playfield (and it's parts) are so clean you could literally eat off them- just like brand new.

Far from any average "eBay" Addams Family game!
Detail- lower flippers. All 4 flipper assemblies on this game have been fully reconditioned and rebuilt with new parts, and all have original Williams flipper coils (now discontinued and no longer available).

Again here, note the cleanliness of all the components. This game looks like it just rolled off the factory assembly line in 1992!
"Swamp" mechanism. This unit holds balls and releases them during Mutliball™ play. This entire unit has been removed, overhauled and reconditioned, and reassembled, including all of the wiring, coils, and switches that operate it. The kickout scoop on the front has been reinforce-welded to make it stronger, and resistant to breakage from vibration, which is a very common problem on original Addams Family games. Note the factory-original coils- all coils in this game are original Williams units- no aftermarket replacements.
Upper right flipper, and bottom of "Bookcase" assembly. Again here, no stone left unturned- all of the components visible here have been removed, disassembled, overhauled and reconditioned, and rebuilt/reassembled. Many new parts installed, including the flipper parts and several parts on the Boockase assembly.

The Bookcase assembly is probably the most neglected, abused, and dirtiest area on the playfield in any Addams Family game, and a quick look under the playfield- at this unit- will quickly tell you how a previous owner has cared for (or neglected) his game. No neglect here- everything is clean/new and in "day one" condition, and will provide many more years of reliability and fun.

Note the clean under-playfield ramp, as well. This unit takes balls from the Vault and Thing hand and transports them to the Swamp to be kicked out. Most under-playfield ramps in most games are as black as the inside of a chimney- very neglected. Not so here- no stone left unturned- everything is "day one" clean.
Detail- "Power" magnets controller board and fuses (modified). The 3 "Power" magnets will pulse during Multiball™ mode, causing the balls to move around in random fashions and giving a sort of "ghostly" effect to game play.

We have upgraded this controller circuitry from the original factory design for added protection. Normally the 3 "Power" magnets were fused by only 1 fuse, and a very common problem that many Addams Family games have had, is if one of the magnets locks on for some reason, the single fuse often would not blow, allowing the magnet to overheat, and then burn the playfield. This would discolor the artwork on the top side of the playfield, and damage the playfield wood. This is very common to find on many used Addams Family games.

We have modified the circuitry for the 3 magnets in this game, and added 3 individual fuses (1 per magnet) which will better allow the fuses to blow if one or more magnets locks on for any reason. Thus helping to protect the playfield from damage.
Detail- upper left flipper, and pop bumpers area. "Chair" kickout scoop is also visible here. Like the Swamp and Thing kickout scoops, the Chair kickout scoop has also been reinforce-welded for added strength and reliability, to keep it from breaking from vibration and repeated use (common problem on most Addams Family games).
Detail- Bookcase and Thing Hand box/assembly. The "Thing" hand unit is housed in the large metal box at the top right corner of the playfield underside. Probably the most complicated asesmbly on this game, this unit really takes a lot of time to fully overhaul and recondition. We have upgraded the magnet coil in the "hand" by installing heavier-gauge wiring and a new larger male/female connector for added reliability. One common problem that this unit has in average used Addams Family games, is that after some time, the original wires in the connector will work loose, and/or wires for the magnet coil will break from being flexed back and forth for so long. This causes the magnet coil to operate intermittently, or not at all, and "Thing" will often be seen to drop the ball while lifting it, or not pick it up at all. This can be extremely difficult for most repair persons to diagnose, and very costly to repair, when it is properly diagnosed. So we have upgraded this unit to help avoid such problems in the future- and to make the game more reliable in the long run.

Description
Game overall view.

Main cabinet- right side.

A few minor nicks, chips, and scratches have been touched up on this, and other exterior surfaces of this used reconditioned game- most of which have been in the solid black areas and all very minor (superficial scuffs and abrasions from below-average use/handling over the years).

There are a few light scratches over the "ball" area on the right side of the cabinet on this game- shown in the detail image at the left. Also a couple of very small "poke marks" in one of the blue lines just behind the ball. See enlarged image- these are circled in that view.
Main cabinet- left side. Great shape here. A few small minor superficial blemishes were touched up in some of the solid black areas here as well. Wear marks under the legs- from normal use over the years- were also touched up and repainted, and these signs of use are not visible when the legs are mounted on the game. The brand new leg protector pads also help to cover these areas and protect against any future wear from the legs.
Backbox- right side. Overall great condition. A few nicks and scuffs were touched up here as well- all confined to the solid black areas around the edges of the backbox. Note that the carriage bolts (4 per side) were removed, refinished, repainted, and reinstalled to restore brand new look.
Backbox left side. Also in great overall condition, with a few minor touch-ups done in the black areas around the edges of the backbox. A couple of small scrapes found their way onto this side of the backbox, but did not really remove any paint or do any significant damage. They are very minor and don't show up in the picture here, but two are across the yellow "ball" near the top (these are not the reflection that can be seen in the image here), and the other one is in the black area just above the knuckle of the pinky finger on the hand. These are basically just some superficial indentations in the surface- probably from some other game that rubbed against this one at some point- and don't really stand out.
Backbox- front and right sides. The original cloud "topper" is still present on this game, and in excellent condition. It has been removed, fully cleaned, and reinstalled. New flasher bulbs have been installed under the topper for illumination, as well. The topper still has the original security Torx-head screws to hold it on. No damage is present on the topper, other than one tiny stress crack- about 1/2 inch long- on the front lower edge. It is not visible unless viewed from above the machine, and does not adversely affect the mounting or look of the topper in any way.

The front frame of the backbox has been repainted in gloss black enamel, and some average nicks and scratches around the edges of the backbox sides were touched-up during the restoration. Carriage bolts on the exterior of the backbox sides have been removed, refinished, and repainted. Original artwork is all still intact and in great shape, with no signs of UV color fading, as is common on many original Addams Family games.

The dot matrix display has been replaced with a brand new unit. Speaker/display panel plastic is in great shape, having only a few of the average typical tiny scratches/scuffs from handling over the years- none of which detract from the look of the game, or are large enough to stand out or to show up in the images.
Main cabinet- front, and coin door. Complete coin door assembly on this game is a brand new NOS unit- mint condition. New 25¢ coin mechanisms have been installed for optional coin-op play.

Front of cabinet has not been drilled for a security bar/hasp, and still retains it's original look. A few small nicks and chips and some areas of wear under the legs were touched-up on the front of the cabinet- all confined to the solid black areas around the perimiter. Original artwork is still present and in great condition.

Plunger (ball shooter) has been fully rebuilt, including new springs, new rod with knob, new washers, nylon sleeve, retaining e-clip, and rubber tip. Legs and leg bolts are brand new. New black leg pads have been installed under the legs to help protect the cabinet from future wear/tear. Lockdown bar on front of game has been cleaned and polished and has a new strip of insulating foam rubber on the underside to keep debris out of the cabinet.
Back side of game. Yes, even the back has been restored. Cabinet has been stripped of parts, refinished and repainted with original semi-gloss black enamel paint. Parts have been reconditioned and reassembled. New white nylon gliders have been installed on the back "skids" and on the underside edges of the backbox, as originally done at the factory. Vent grille on back panel has been fully cleaned and reinstalled. Legs, leg bolts, leg bolt plates, leg protector pads, and leg levelers are all brand new. We have installed a brand new grounded line cord on this game as well.
Translite- back side. Translite in this game is an original- not an aftermarket reproduction. It is in near-mint condition- superb shape- front and back sides. Only has one tiny superficial nick- about the size of a pin head- on the back right egde, about 5 inches from the top (circled in image- large view).
Backbox insert door. Very clean here- no signs of dirt, dust, nicotene stains, or other damage. All light bulbs have been replaced, including the 6 "flasher" bulbs that animate the backglass artwork.
Backbox interior- circuit boards. All boards are clean and show no signs of overheated/scorched connectors or any bad past repair work. Note remote-mount battery with connector added to MPU board. MPU board also has the latest L-6 revision game ROM chip installed. Power/driver board has had several upgrades for added reliability and has been fully cleaned. All fuses have been checked for proper values and replaced where necessary.
Detail- power/driver board- GI lamp connector/driver/fuse section. Note that there are no burned connectors here, as is common to find in many used Bally/Williams games. All connectors and wiring are very healthy in this game, very clean, and show very minimal signs of use.
Did we mention the bottom? Yes, even the bottom of the game has been reconditioned- all parts removed and all bare wood and edges of cabinet sanded to restore original look and finish.
Main cabinet interior. Entire cabinet interior was stripped of parts for complete cleaning. A few minor stains from previous use still exist on the bottom panel, which we were not able to get out. All parts were removed, including transformer, speaker, grilles, wiring harnesses, and more. All were fully cleaned, reconditioned, and reinstalled. Lockdown bar latch was disassembled, cleaned, and rebuilt/reinstalled and adjusted, and includes new "Install 3 Balls" decal. Note brand new coin box and lid- front, and coin door.

Front area of cabinet interior.
