IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT LEDs:     - PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING -

Most LEDs project light differently than incandescent lamps. Lamps project light in a 360-degree radius. Most LEDs project light in a "cone" shape- roughly 120-degrees out from the top of the LED. This makes LEDs appear BRIGHTER than lamps, when viewed from the top, and DIMMER than lamps, when viewed from the side.

Since most LEDs do not send much light out SIDEWAYS, an LED mounted perpendicular to say, a playfield light insert, will not send much light through the insert. LEDs typically need to be "aimed" at their intended target, to get the best benefit of their light projection.

Please take this into consideration before ordering LEDs, as they cannot be returned. You may want to buy a small quanitity of LEDs to experiment with in your game, then buy more later if they work well for you. Please remember that LEDs are considered "electronic parts" and are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund- ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Need non-flickering LEDs, or brighter LEDs? See our Non-Ghosting LED Selection below, or our Extra Bright LED Selection.

WE MAKE NO GUARANTEE AS TO HOW, OR IF, LED BULBS WILL WORK IN YOUR GAME. Satisfaction is not guaranteed, and all sales are absolutely final.

Standard (1 Element) LED Bulbs - Assorted Types / Colors:

- IMPORTANT -
Please read our
"Important Note About LEDs"
above, before ordering.

These standard LED bulbs have 1 LED element per bulb. For brighter LEDs, see our Extra Bright LED Section below.

Replace the original incandescent lamps in your game with great looking LEDs! LED bulbs save energy and produce virtually NO HEAT, so they are very "green" and "game-friendly"! They also produce a crisp, sharp look, that enhances the great looks of your prized game.

Easy to install- LEDs simply install in the same sockets as your old incandescent lamps (* see compatibility notes below). LED lamps available here replace #44, #47, #555, and #194/161 lamps in most makes and models of games.

LED lamps will work in both switched and non-switch lamp sockets (such as those for feature/switched lamps, and general-illumination lamps) on the playfield, backbox, or main cabinet.

* COMPATIBILITY: Please note that LED bulbs may not work in some circuits in some Data East games, and will not work correctly in Capcom games. When used in Bally/Williams "Pinball 2000" models (Revenge From Mars and Star Wars: Episode 1) the game will generate error messages indicating that the LEDs installed are burned-out bulbs (does not affect operation/play). Functionality of LED bulbs used in these games is not guaranteed or warranted.

Non-Ghosting (1 Element) LED Bulbs - Assorted Types / Colors:
Same as above, but "non-ghosting" versions.
- IMPORTANT -
Please read our
"Important Note About LEDs"
above, before ordering.

"What is 'ghosting'?"
'Ghosting' is the partial-illumination of an LED bulb, when it is supposed to be completely off. This can happen occasionally on some electronic pinball games. For example, when the "1000 bonus" light is lit on some games, another light elsewhere on the playfield that is supposed to be off, may glow dim at the same time. This is caused by electronic characteristics of LED bulbs and the unique "matrix" style wiring/switching used in some pinball games. It is a purely cosmetic symptom and will not cause damage to your game.

Non-ghosting LEDs are designed to prevent this symptom. They can be installed in place of LED bulbs that are exhibiting the 'ghosting' symptom.

Non-ghosting LED bulbs have 1 LED element per bulb.

LED Styles:

A = Bayonet base (#44/#47 type)
B = Wedge base (#555)
Clear lens shown

* COMPATIBILITY: Non-ghosting LEDs will eliminate ghosting problems in Bally/Williams WPC and WPC-95 games, Capcom games, Gottlieb System 3 games, and Sega/Stern Whitestar & SAM systems (late 1995-present). May or may not cure ghosting issues in other games/systems (others not tested). Please note that LED bulbs may not work in some circuits in some Data East games.

15 foot roll of 16-gauge braided uninsulated wire as used for stationary lamp sockets on bottom side of playfields and insert panels in backboxes. This wire is typically stapled to the wood surface, and runs from lamp socket to lamp socket, carrying power to each bulb.

Great restoration or repair item, and a must for installing a new bare playfield in any game- installing new lamp socket wire makes installation much cleaner and faster.

NOTE: This wire requires quite a bit of heat to solder thoroughly- we recommend a 60- to 100-watt fixed or adjustable soldering iron and rosin-core solder for best results.
