  • Cleaners, Polishes, Wax:
Products listed here have been used and proven safe on original factory playfield finishes on old and new games, as well as mylar coatings, and catalyzed clearcoat (or "Diamondplate") finishes, as used on modern pinball games. If your playfield has been coated with an inferior aftermarket product, we cannot make any guarantees about how these products will work on your playfield. Use of any of these products is always done so at your own risk.
Diamond Bright Playfield Cleaner/Polish: $8.95 ea    Tips for use
BIG 16oz. bottle! Our highest recommendation for playfield cleaner/polish. Recommended for ANY and ALL pinball playfields- from old games with just "wood and paint", to vintage polyurethane-coated fields, Mylar-covered, "Diamondplate" coatings, and modern clearcoated fields, too! (It's what we use on our game restorations!) Best polish, best shine! Follow up Diamond Bright with a coat or two of Kit Carnauba wax (below) for the best possible shine and protection!
Crystal Clear Carnauba Paste Wax: $14.95 Ideal for older games (pre-clearcoat/pre-Diamondplate)
Big 1-pound can! This wax is ideal for older games with standard polyurethane coatings that were made before clearcoating and Diamondplating which were introduced around 1990. Older games have a tendency to develop hairline cracks in the surface as they age, and standard waxes will typically get caught in these cracks and dry to a hazy white coloring, which accentuates the cracks and makes them stand out. Waxing an older game with standard wax can usually make it look worse than not waxing it at all.

Not so with Crystal Clear Paste Wax. This wax dries clear so it won't make playfield stress cracks and other blemishes stand out or appear unsightly. And this wax has Carnauba which makes it one of the hardest waxes made, which provides excellent protection against wear and tear to your valuable game.
Mother's California Gold Carnuaba Cleaner/Wax: $13.99 ea    Tips for use
BIG 16oz. bottle! Top-of-the line Carnauba wax for maximum polish, shine, and protection. It doesn't get better than Mother's! If you want the best wax for your game, this is it. Carnuaba is the hardest wax available so provides the toughest and longest-lasting protection to help preserve your playfield. Liquid wax in big 16oz. bottle. Easy to apply and use.
Turtle Wax Super Hard Shell Wax: $8.95 ea    Tips for use
BIG 16oz. bottle! High quality wax for use on new or old games. Easy-to-use liquid wax goes on and buffs off easy leaving a great shine and protection to help preserve your playfield's finish.

    Kit Carnauba Wax: $8.95 ea
    Tips for use
Available in liquid, or paste form, in 16oz bottle or tin. Our highest recommendation for playfield wax. Formulated for car finishes, but a fantastic protectant and shine for your playfield!
    Liquid Wax:Discontinued
    Paste Wax:
    CP-100 Playfield & Parts Cleaner: $7.95
8oz. bottle. Handy stuff! Highly recommended for keeping rubber rings and rubber parts clean and fresh-looking! Also a great multi-purpose cleaner for playfield surface and parts. Great for tough spots on your playfield, or removing stubborn grime from parts!
    Novus Plastic Polish Products:
In 8oz. bottles. Great cleaner/polish for plastic parts and modern pinballs with Diamondplate or clearcoated playfields.

Novus #1 Use as a final scratch-free cleaner/polish for plastic parts, coated playfields, and as an anti-static cleaner for glass and video monitors. $5.95
Novus #2 Formulated to remove light scuffs or "clouding" in plastic parts or clearcoated surfaces. Excellent for one-step part cleaning/polish. $7.15 Sold Out - Please check back...
Novus #3 For heavier scratch or scuff removal. Follow with Novus #2, then #1 as a finishing application. $7.95
Novus 1,2,3 Set of all 3 polishes- #1, #2, and #3 $21.05 Sold Out - Please check back...

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser: $1.95 ea
Great cleaner for playfields with years of grime and wear/tear. Proven highly effective on older playfields with ball "swirl" marks in the polyurethane finish. Removes a large amount of ground-in dirt, especially from ball swirl marks, making many of them nearly indetectible. Doesn't erase all of the wear/tear on a used game (nothing will), but does a much better job on age-related dirt and grime than standard cleaners/polishes. Give it a try! Really restores a lot of years to a used playfield.

Sponge-like disposable pad, lightly dampened with water (or alcohol), is used to rub the playfield clean of buildup. Special chemical make-up of the pad penetrates surface grooves where dirt and grime get trapped. Easily and thoroughly breaks up dirt, lifting it away from the surface. Use it over and over until it's gone.

Tips for Use: One Magic Eraser will usually cover general cleaning of one standard size playfield. For wide-body games, or extensive/full cleaning, we recommend 2 Magic Erasers. We suggest a general cleaning of your playfield surface first, before using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Then follow up the Magic Eraser treatment with our #1 recommended Diamond Bright cleaner/polish for polishing and adding some shine, and a coat or two of Kit Carnauba Wax for extra shine and protection. (Both items listed above.)

    Flipper Rebuild Kit Notes:
    • Kits for earlier games are not available and never have been. Sorry, we do not carry individual flipper rebuild parts for any other games as most are no longer available or in extremely limited supply.
    • Earlier Williams games (Firepower (1980) through Comet (1985)) can use most parts from the early Bally/Williams kit (above) with some modification to the plastic plunger link. Some parts in the kit will not be used (such as coil stop) due to the one-piece flipper baseplate design in these earlier games. Click here for more details.
    • Bally/Williams kits do TWO flippers- one left side, and one right side. If your game has an odd number of flippers (one left, two right, etc), then you will need to buy an additional kit for the odd flipper (we do not sell half-kits and cannot split-up kits).
    • Data East, Sega, and new Stern kits really are that expensive- more than twice the cost of Bally/Williams kits. Sorry- that's just the way they've always been. One Data East kit does ONE flipper- either a left, or a right. So you will need TWO Data East kits to rebuild TWO flippers. Sega and new Stern kits are sold individually- left or right.
    • WE DO NOT PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE or instructions for rebuilding your flippers. For help, see the repair guides at: www.marvin3m.com/fix.htm, or if in our local area, we can do the work for you- see our Pinball Service & Repair page for more info!
    • Not sure which kit you need? E-mail us and we can tell you!
  • See our Electronic Parts page for flipper switches, and other related electrical parts.

    Flipper Assembly, Bally/Williams Games
Complete baseplate and mechanism assembly for left or right side flippers- as used on Bally/Williams games. Direct replacement for flippers on games from approx. 1986-up. Will also replace earlier flipper assemblies from 1979-1985.

These units are great for replacing/upgrading old obsolete flipper assemblies on older games and games from other manufacturers (Stern, Game Plan, Bally, etc) where old original replacement parts are impossible to find. See our Flipper Assembly Upgrade article on our Technical Articles page for info on fitting these flipper assemblies on an older game.

Flipper bat/shaft and coil not included- order flippers separately below, or coils from our Electronic Parts page- depending on the color of flippers you prefer, and type of coil your game uses. Any of the long coils (approx. 2 inch) can be used on this unit, including Data East 090-5020-30 & 090-5032-00, Bally/Williams FL-11753, FL-11722, FL-11630, FL15411, FL11629, FL17636, Williams SFL-19-400/30-750-DC, SFL-23-600/30-2600-DC. Short flipper coils on older games can be used on this assembly as well, but it requires you to move the front coil mounting bracket back, and drill/tap new screw holes for it, to accomodate the shorter coil. Modifications like this are done at your own risk.

This baseplate design includes and uses most parts in the Bally and Williams flipper rebuild kits listed above, plus flipper bushing, nuts, screws, rubber bumper, and front coil plunger guide/bracket. Ready to "plug and play"!
