Game Delivery & Setup Info

  • Local Sales:

    Most games sold to customers in our local, or Full Service Area, include delivery and setup at no additional cost. Most games also include a full warranty.

  • Out-of-Town Sales:

    Most games sold to customers located out-of-town, or outside our Full Service Area do not include delivery, setup, or shipping cost/labor, and may include only a limited warranty. We do not do game delivery and setup outside our Full Service Area, but we can arrange for you to pick up your game at our shop, in person, or we can make arrangements for shipping your game to you as well.     We are available for deliveries and service work to customers within our Full Service Area.


























    For local customers, most games can be brought into your location and set up in about 30 minutes time. Our free delivery and setup (where applicable) will be provided as long as moving the game into your location and setting it up does not require any additional services, or any additional time beyond 30 minutes (see "Extra Delivery Charges" below). There is an extra charge if any of these conditions apply.


    Delivery Preparation:

    Most games weigh about 300 pounds each and are very difficult to move into some areas or up/down stairs due to their weight and size. Several things should be considered when choosing a game for your location and having it delivered. Please use the following checklist to ensure that all preparations are made before we deliver and set up your game:

    Measurements:
    Some games may be too large to fit through certain doorways, hallways, stairways, or in rooms with low ceilings. Be sure to take measurements of these items into consideration before choosing a game for your location.
    Delivery Path:
    Please make sure you have a clear, safe path made to the area where your game will be placed. This includes removing any necessary doors from doorways, exterior sliding doors, clearing stairways (including tops and bottoms of stairways), moving furniture or other items/equipment, and any snow, water, ice, or mud removal. Please remember that most games weigh approximately 300 pounds, and can be very dangerous to persons and property if obstacles are in the way.
    Game Location: Be sure to have an area cleared for your game when it arrives. Here are some recommendations:
    • Keep your game away from windows and direct sunlight- even those with curtains or blinds. Sunlight (ultra-violet light) will fade the colors and artwork on most games, thus damaging your investment.
    • Keep your game away from devices such as dartboards or basketball games where objects can get loose and possibly break the glass on the game (glass on some games is irreplaceable, or very expensive to replace).
    • Always keep your game indoors, in a heated area. Games can be rendered inoperable or malfunction if left in cold areas. We recommend 65 degrees Fahrenheit, or greater, in game areas.
    • Always keep your game away from moist or humid areas or air sources, such as around swimming pools, hot tubs, near air conditioners, etc. Moisture will destroy the silk-screened artwork on glass parts, and can cause wood cabinets and playfields to warp and crack.
    Pets and Children:
    If you have any pets or young children at your location, we politely request that you keep them out of the area when we're delivering and setting up your game. We realize its exciting and fun to have a new game arrive, but game delivery and setup is very difficult and requires great caution and concentration for it to be done safely and correctly and without any damage to persons or property. Most games weigh around 300 pounds each, so any extra noise, disturbances, disruptions, pets, or children in the area can be very dangerous and very distracting. We ask for your courteous consideration when delivering and setting up your game.
    Payment:
    Please be sure to have any remaining payment or balance due ready at the time we deliver and set up your game. Any balance due at delivery must be paid in cash funds only- no checks (we do not accept any other form of payment at time of delivery- no exceptions). If payment cannot be ready at time of delivery, contact us to reschedule delivery or make payment by check or cash no sooner than 10 days before delivery date.     Extra Delivery Charges Will Apply For:

    • Each game delivered out of town (outside our Full Service Area). (Minimum $50 per game.)
    • Each game moved up or down a difficult flight of stairs (narrow or steep stairs, turns, corners, etc). (Minimum $25.)
    • More than two (2) persons from our shop needed to move game(s) into your location (Minimum $50.)
    • Snow and/or ice removal from driveways, walkways, or other delivery paths. (Minimum $35.)
    • Application of salt or ice melter on driveways, walkways, or other delivery paths. (Minimum $20.)
    • Time to remove and re-install any parts of the game in order to get it into your location (or through narrow doorways), and set up. (Minimum $50.)
    • Removal of any doors, furniture, or any other items at your location in order to deliver and set up your game. (Minimum $50.)
    • Moving the game through any snow or mud. (Minimum $50.)
    • Any return trips to deliver or set up your game (no one home, unsafe delivery conditions, etc) (Minimum $100.)
    We are not responsible for:
    • Doors, handrails, furniture, or any other items at your location that we move or remove to deliver your game.
    • Damage to concrete, decks, or lawns from use of salt or ice melter applied for safe delivery of your game.
    • Damage to, or dirtying of, any carpets or floors in your location from moving the game.
    • Return trip(s) to your location for any additional delivery attempts, or if delivery conditions are not acceptable/safe, or if any payment due at delivery is not ready (cash only).
    Safety is our number one concern when delivering and setting up a game. We reserve the right to refuse delivery and/or setup if any hazardous or difficult conditions exist that could cause damage or harm to the game, yourself, your property, or ourselves, or if other delivery or payment terms or conditions are not met. A return trip can be rescheduled if any of these conditions are present, for an additional fee (see above).

    Again, please be sure to have all preparations made before we arrive to deliver your game. We give free time of 30 minutes for game delivery, and charge our normal labor rate (per employee) for any time beyond 30 minutes. Please understand that we are often on a tight schedule that involves other customers and often other deliveries or appointments on the same day, so we must charge for any additional time that takes away from our schedule and other customer's schedules.
