Game Deposits

We can take a non-refundable deposit to temporarily hold a game for delivery or pick-up. Deposits are applied toward the sale price of the game. A paid deposit ensures that the game is sold to you, and that it will not be sold to any other buyer, during the Hold Period.

  • Minimum deposit amount required to hold a game is 50% of game price.
  • Maximum Hold Period is 14 days (2 weeks) from date deposit payment is received (unless on Christmas Lay Away).
  • Any deposits made are completely non-refundable. No exceptions.
  • Remaining balance must be paid in full by end of Hold Period. See our Payment Policy page for more info on types of payments, and payment methods, that we accept.
When we take a deposit on a game, we mark that game "SOLD" for you, and turn away any other interested customers. By doing this, we are turning away potential customers and potential revenue. Because of this, any deposits that we accept are completely non-refundable. We ask that you carefully consider your purchase before placing a deposit, to be certain you pick the game you really want, and that you will be able to pay for it in full, and take delivery of it, by the end of the deposit Hold Period (above).

Games that are not paid for in full, and taken delivery of, by the end of the Hold Period, will have any deposit/payment forfeited, and game will be put back up for sale to other customers. See our Payment Policy page for more info on types of payments, and payment methods, that we accept.

Christmas Lay-Away: Our Christmas Lay-Away plan is available for games purchased between October 21st, and December 24th, of every year. This plan is intended to help customers make and reserve early Christmas purchases, and have them delivered (or taken delivery of) by Christmas Eve (Dec. 24th) (our Christmas delivery schedule permitting).

Sorry, but we do not offer any other hold, lay-away, or "payment plans" other than the above, simply because we are not a storage or finance facility and do not have the space or resources to store games around the shop until customers can pay for them. If you are not able to pay for your game right away, please check back with us at another time when you may be more prepared to make a game purchase, or check with your preferred financial institution or credit card company regarding other alternatives for payment. Refund Policy: Deposits and payments received for game purchases (whether holding for Hold Period or through Christmas Lay-Away) are completely non-refundable and will not be returned or refunded under any circumstances. Before making a deposit or payment on a game, please be sure that:

  1. You are certain about the game you are purchasing- make sure it is the one you want.
  2. You can take delivery of the game by the end of the Hold Period or Lay Away.
  3. You can pay the remaining balance due on the game by the end of the Hold Period.
  4. If paying balance due by check, please make your check payment early enough to allow funds to clear the bank, before your game is delivered. No game can leave our shop unless check payment has fully cleared the bank. See our Payment Policy page for more info.
Why Deposits Are Non-Refundable: When we receive a deposit on a game, we mark that game SOLD. This means that we turn away any other interested customers after the game has been marked sold. When we turn customers away, this causes us to lose potential customers, sales, and revenues. For this reason, any deposits received are completely non-refundable.

Paying the Balance: Any balance due on your game (sale price less deposit received) is due at the end of the Hold Period- no exceptions. If you are paying by check, please make your payment early enough to allow it to clear the bank before the end of the Hold Period, otherwise your game may not be able to be delivered. No game can leave our shop until check has cleared the bank. See our Payment Policy page for more info.

If balance due is not received by the end of the Hold Period, game is put back up for sale- customer forfeits right to the game as well as any deposit paid. Any deposit paid remains property of Action Pinball & Amusement, LLC, and remains non-refundable.

Taking Delivery of the Game: After game has been paid in full, customer is asked to take delivery of the game by the end of the Hold Period (or Lay Away period, if on Christmas Lay Away) at the latest. If customer cannot take delivery of game by the end of the period, we may be able to store it in our facilities for a pre-paid weekly fee (if current shop space allows). Please see our Storage Policy for more information on storage for your game and weekly costs.

After the Hold Period: If storage has not been previously arranged and paid for, any game remaining at our shop for any reason after the Hold Period (or Lay Away period, if on Christmas Lay Away) will again become property of Action Pinball & Amusement, LLC, and put back up for sale. Any deposits or payments made on the game will be forfeited by customer and remain property of Action Pinball & Amusement, LLC, and are not refundable to customer under any circumstances (see "Refund Policy" above, and our Payment Policy page for more info).

Again, please carefully consider your purchase ahead of time, and make proper arrangements to pay for your game in full and take delivery of it before the end of the Hold Period. Or contact us to make arrangements and payment for game storage to avoid loss of game and any payments made.



We reserve the right to not take a deposit on any game for any reason. Some games may require immediate sale, or pick-up/delivery, or other circumstances may apply. Therefore, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to refuse a deposit on any game for any reason.
