Game Payment Policy
We accept the following forms of payment for game sales:
- Direct bank transfers
- Certified bank check (drawn on US bank only)
- Credit/debit cards
- PayPal.com payments
- Cash (paid in person at our shop)
Some restrictions apply to some forms of payment, or on some types of games/equipment, and depending on customer's location- please read below for more info.
More information on payment methods:
- Direct Bank Transfers:
We can accept bank transfers (account to account). Most banks do not charge for this service. We can provide you with bank routing number with which your bank can transfer your funds.
- Certified Bank Check:
Must be drawn on a major U.S. bank. Most bank checks require 5 business days to clear bank before game can be picked-up or delivered/shipped. For bank check payments, we prepare your game for shipping while check is clearing bank, so game can be shipped as soon as possible.
No checks will be accepted less than 10 days before game pick-up or delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience, but due to too many recent problems with banks and bad checks, we are no longer accepting any checks whatsoever at time of game delivery or pickup- whether game is delivered to customer's location or picked up at our shop in person. Sorry, no exceptions.
- Credit/Debit Cards:
We accept major credit/debit cards for payment, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Payments with credit/debit card can be made by phone, or we can send you an e-mail invoice through which you can make an online credit/debit card payment. If your credit/debit card provider has limitations on your card's daily spending limit, several charges to your card may be required over multiple days to cover higher-cost purchases, depending on your card's limitations.
- PayPal.com:
We can accept online payments through the PayPal.com system (part of eBay). There is no charge to our customers for this method of payment. PayPal allows payments to be made from bank transfers, credit/debit cards, eChecks, and existing PayPal funds, and is 100% free to use for our customers- no fees or other charges to you. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use this service.
Depending on method and amount of payment, PayPal may have some restrictions on the amount of money that you can transfer, depending on your method of payment or what type of PayPal account you have (if you are a PayPal member). Some payment methods may require 3-5 business days to fund, such as eChecks or bank transfers through PayPal. In some cases, there may also be a delay, or "waiting period", of a few days while PayPal validates your bank or credit/debit card info.
- Cash:
Cash payments (US currency- ie: "green folding paper money") can be made in person (we don't recommend sending cash by mail due to risk of theft or loss).
- Note: "Cash" is not the same as "check". If you wish to pay by check, please read the section above on Certified Bank Checks.
