 Game ROM Information- South Park Prototype Rev. 0.90
Note: We stock these, and other custom and unique ROM chips listed on our ROM Chips page. The 0.90 version of ROM chips for South Park is a "prototype" or pre-release version of the software made before the actual production of the game was started, and before the commercial version of the game shipped. This version includes many different features, sound, music, and voice clips than the latest commercial release. Not all features/differences in the prototype revision have been documented, as this version is not supported by Sega/Stern Pinball. The differences that we have been able to document so far are as follows:
Note that ALL SEVEN game, sound, and display ROM chips must be replaced in order to get the features in the prototype revision. You must also change all seven chips if you are upgrading from a prototype version to the latest latest commercial release. NOTE: This ROM set is a prototype version of software not released into production by Sega pinball. It was used on prototype (pre-production) machines and is not supported or guaranteed by us, or Sega Pinball. Use at your own risk. Sales on all test and custom (or "home") ROM chips ARE ALL FINAL. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be given for ANY of these ROM chips. We have no control over the features or changes provided in these ROM chips, nor how they may differ from standard ROM chips, so make no guarantees how they will operate in your game, or whether or not you will like them.
