Auto ball-launcher mechanism with 24-940 coil (090-5036-0B). Used on many Data East, Sega, and late-model Stern Pinball games.
Includes:Replaces original part #s 500-5477-00 and 500-5477-01 (coil type varies depending on game).
Installation Tips: Wiring connector on this part is a 4-pin female IDC connector housing, 0.156-inch spacing. Most games that use this shooter mechanism will have a matching connector in the wiring harness underneath the front of the playfield where this housing plugs in. If your game is like this, you should find a matching 4-pin female IDC connector housing there, with a Z-connector (header) installed in it. The Z-connector is a back-to-back set of male header pins which acts as a gender changer, allowing two female housings to be connected together.
If your game does not have this, and instead uses a hard-wire connection to the coil on the shooter mechanism, then you can just remove the wires and connector from the new shooter mechanism, and connect your games existing wires to the coil directly by soldering.
