White plastic drop target for some Data East, Sega, and late-model Stern Pinball games 1987-up (see game listing below).
This target has the THIN top edge- about 1/8-inch at top. Target face measures approx. 1-inch wide, 1-1/8-inch tall.
Installation in Game Plan Machines:
Can substitute for obsolete/discontinued Game Plan drop targets: this target (# 545-5048-01) will sit 1/4-inch higher than original Game Plan targets, once installed, so some modifications have to be made:- ALL the targets in the same bank must be replaced with # 545-5048-01 targets so that they all have the same height when in the up or down position.
- The target bank mechanism must have 1/4-inch spacers added between the top of it, and the bottom side of the playfield (we suggest spacer # HWR06-080602). This makes the target bank mechanism sit 1/4-inch lower, which makes the 545-5048-01 targets sit level with the top-side playfield surface, when they are in the down position.
- Longer screws must be installed to secure the target bank mechanism to the playfield underside, when spacers are in place. We suggest screw # HWR02-030610. Take care not to run the end of the screw to, or through, the playfield top side, as this will split the wood, and damage the playfield artwork/finish. You may want to add 1 or 2 washers under the screw head, to help avoid this (part # HWR03-010604).
