Direct replacement for obsolete # 6820 and factory part # SC44067P / 7950. 40 pin chip (20 pins each side). Also replaces Fairchild # 68B21, ST Micro # EF68B21P, Hitachi #s HD6321P, HD63B21FP, HD68B21P & HD468B21P, Bally # E-620-29, Data East / Sega / Stern # 100-0255-00, Motorola #s MC6821P & MC68B21P, Taito # 15-00004-001, Williams #s 5430-08972-00 & 5A-8972, and similar others.
Used for a variety of pinball tasks including switch matrix drives, solenoid control, lamp control, sounds/audio, and display data output.
Use with 40-pin chip socket.
