Wedge-base lamp socket. Slide-over mounting.
Found on inside of Coin Controls and Wells Gardner brand coin doors to hold coin slot illumination lamp.
Accommodates common wedge-base bulbs and LEDs such as #555, #161, #916, and similar others.
NOTE: LED INSTALLATION: For wedge base LEDs, it is recommended that the wire leads on the base of the LED be bent outward slightly in order to make better contact with the terminals inside the lamp socket. Example image (click to enlarge):
