Opto receiver PCB assembly. Includes opto receiver element, small PC board, and black plastic mount/housing.
Fits many late-model Bally and Williams games. Pair with emitter assembly # A-16908 (sold separately).
Replaces # A-14316.
Install with two (2) screws, part # HWR02-010601-ST (sold separately).
The receiver unit detects UV light which is sent by the emitter unit mounted across from it. When a ball rolls between the emitter and receiver units on your game, a break in the UV light beam translates to a switch signal in the games electronics. If you have an opto switch pair that does not detect when a ball rolls past it, chances are either your emitter or receiver opto unit is faulty.
