Double-ended 12-inch LED tube. 120 vac, T5 (approx.- see notes), 4-watt, 3000k lumens. Can be used to replace fluorescent lamps of same size, with possible modifications depending on existing wiring and mounting (see notes below).
NOTES:- Uses straight 110-120vac line power- hot at one end (both pins), and neutral at other end (both pins).
- Requires shunted lamp sockets, or non-shunted sockets with wiring converted to work as shunted sockets (see additional image below).
- No ballast or starter required (must be eliminated/bypassed).
- Slightly larger than T5 diameter. T5 is approx. 9/16- or 5/8-inch. This tube is approx. 3/4-inch diameter.
- May require shorter mounting screws for lamp sockets if existing screws protrude too far to allow lamp to be seated fully in sockets.
- Shatter-proof tube.
- Average 50,000 hour lifespan.
- Less energy consumption.
- Lower heat
- No UV emissions that typically damage nearby components, wiring, and wiring connectors.
- Soft white color tone- between warm and neutral (3000K lumens - see additional image below for example).
