Pair of small opto emitter and receiver PCBs for some later-model Gottlieb/Premier games (see game listing below).
Includes: - 1 piece # MA-1330 emitter opto PCB (# 31082 PCB with # XO-994 infrared LED element)
- 1 piece # MA-1331 receiver opto PCB (# 31083 PCB with # XO-993 receiver transistor element)
Each PCB measures 3/4-inch wide x 1 inch tall.
Emitter replaces #s MA-1330, 31082, and 31240.
Receiver replaces #s MA-1331, 31083, and 31241.
NOTES:- Wires must be connected correctly for proper operation (connection/schematic diagram is included, also see additional image below).
- If you reverse wires, or otherwise connect improperly, you may destroy the part and have to buy a new one.
- Refer to wiring diagram that comes with this part. Also observe wire connections from old opto PC boards that you are replacing (assuming their connections are correct), and/or consult your game manual/schematics for further wiring colors and proper connections.
- TESTING:
- Emitter: With wires connected properly, and proper voltage present, emitter LED can be observed projecting light by viewing through a digital camera (pics up infrared light). LED will glow purple when lit up and viewed through digital camera.
- Receiver: With PCB disconnected and using a digital multimeter set on diode test, red lead to IN (green wire) terminal, black lead to OUT (brown wire) terminal, some resistance should appear on the meter when direct light is projected on receiver element.
