Short coil for some Chicago Coin (CDI) and early Stern electro-mechanical (EM) games. Fiber coil bobbin with built-in brass sleeve which is non-removable.
Measures 1-1/4 inches wide x 1-3/8 inches long (not including coil sleeve which protrudes 1/16 from front of coil). Standard 7/16 inch inner diameter coil sleeve. No diode across solder lugs.
NOTES: - There are at least 3 different versions of this coil that have the same part number, and they are not all interchangeable. Please verify this part exactly matches what you need before ordering (by both picture AND description), as electrical parts are not returnable.
- Built-in coil sleeve is brass and is non-removable. Does not protrude out back side of coil (see additional image below). Protrudes out front of coil by about 1/16 inch.
- This coil is designed for operation on mechanisms that have a coil stop that mounts on the back of the coil which stops the plunger when it pulls in to the coil.
- This coil will not fit or work on replay knockers, bells, or any other mechanism that allows the coil plunger to travel ALL THE WAY through the coil without stopping.
