NOTE: Modern rubber rings are made from a stiffer, less elastic rubber, and tend to fit tighter than original factory rubber rings from decades past. We recommend going up one size on some rings, such as this size (2-1/2 inch) to allow for better fit and operation. This is especially true on slingshot kickers that call for a 2-1/2 inch ring- we recommend using a modern 2-3/4 inch or 3 inch instead. Or a slingshot that calls for a 2 inch should use a 2-1/2 inch. This doesn't necessarily hold true for all games and all applications, but should be considered as a rule of thumb for modern ring replacement.
