Replacement Flipper ROM 2 (IC17) chip for MPU board (green label version). For use in some Williams electronic solid-state (SS) 6-digit scoring games (see game listing below). Used on factory-original MPU boards, or original-style aftermarket boards (does not work with Rottendog MPU board).
This custom ROM simulates million point scoring by shifting score digits 1 position to the right (eliminating the rightmost trailing zero). See below for detailed instructions, and additional images for example.
HOW IT WORKS:- Turn game OFF and replace your old IC17 with this new chip.
- Turn game ON and go into the adjustments/settings mode using coin door buttons (refer to game manual if you need help with this).
- Set the MATCH feature to OFF in your game adjustments/settings (refer to game manual if you need help with this).
- Turn game OFF and back ON and start a game.
- Your scores will be shifted ONE DIGIT TO THE RIGHT to simulate million point scoring (the rightmost trailing zero is no longer present).
